Privacy policy

LeDuc Restock Alerts ("the app") is a Shopify app made by LeDuc Systems LLC. It lets shoppers ask to be emailed when a sold-out product is back in stock. This policy explains what data the app accesses and stores. Last updated November 3, 2026.

What the app accesses in your store

• Products (read only): to check whether a variant shoppers are waiting for is available again, and to put its name, price, image and link in the alert email.
• Inventory (read only): so Shopify tells the app the moment stock changes.
• Shop details: your store name, contact email and currency, used for the alert's sender name, reply-to address and price.

The app does not access orders, customers, payments or analytics.

Shopper data

When a shopper uses the "Notify me" form, the app stores their email address, the product and variant they asked about, and the time they asked. That is all. It is used only to send that one back-in-stock email on your store's behalf, and you can see it in the app. The storefront script sets no cookies and does no tracking.

Each alert has an unsubscribe link. A shopper gets at most one email per sign-up.

What the app stores on our servers

• The shopper sign-ups described above, and whether each alert was sent.
• Your email settings (sender name, reply-to address, subject line).
• The Shopify session data needed to keep you signed in: your shop domain, an access token issued by Shopify, and the granted permission scopes.

Sharing

We don't sell or share data. Two service providers process it only to run the app: Hetzner Online (Germany) hosts the server, and our email delivery provider (Resend, USA) sends the alert emails.

Retention and deletion

• When Shopify sends a customer redaction request, we delete that shopper's sign-ups for your store.
• When you uninstall the app, your session is deleted right away. Shopify sends a shop/redact request 48 hours later, and we then delete all sign-ups and settings for your store.
• A shopper can ask us directly to delete their data at the address below.
