Saguaro Hours for Azure DevOps
Coming soon. It's built and in testing, and not in the Visual Studio Marketplace yet. Email me and I'll send you one email the day it's listed.
Time tracking inside Azure Boards: log hours on a work item, fill in a weekly timesheet, have a lead approve the week, and export reports to CSV.
I built Saguaro Hours because the Azure DevOps time trackers I looked at either charge $12 or more per user per month or keep your time data on their own servers. This one keeps your time entries in your own Azure DevOps organization, in the storage Microsoft provides to extensions. I don't run a server that holds them.
What it does
- Log time on the work item. A "Log time" group on the work item form, with your entries on that item listed underneath.
- Weekly timesheet. Under Boards, a grid of your week by work item and day, with totals and the hours required for the week.
- Approvals. Submit your week; an approver approves, rejects with a reason, or reopens it. Submitted and approved weeks are locked.
- Reports. Filter by dates, person, area path and iteration path. Group by person, work item, tag and more. Export to CSV.
- Import from Tempo. If your team is moving from Jira and Tempo, import your logged time from a Tempo CSV export.
Price
- Free for up to 5 people logging time in your organization.
- $4 per user per month above that, with a license key you enter in Timesheet, Settings.
- If you go over 5 people without a key, your existing time stays readable and exportable. Adding new time pauses until a key is entered.
Install
When it's listed, an organization administrator installs it from the Visual Studio Marketplace. It works with Azure DevOps Services (the cloud version).
Saguaro Hours is made by LeDuc Systems LLC, an Arizona limited liability company in Phoenix, Arizona.
