Privacy policy

LeDuc Sold Out Sorter ("the app") is a Shopify app made by LeDuc Systems LLC. It moves sold-out products to the bottom of your collections. This policy explains what data the app accesses and stores. Last updated November 3, 2026.

What the app accesses

• Products and collections (read and write): to see which products are sold out and to reorder manually sorted collections. With your click, it can also switch a collection to manual sort.
• Inventory (read only): so Shopify tells the app the moment stock changes.
• Shop details: your store's domain, used to sign in to the app.

The app does not access orders, customers, payments or analytics.

What the app stores on our servers

• For products it moved, the position they had in each collection before, so they can go back there when restocked.
• Which collections you turned sorting off for, and when sorting last ran.
• The Shopify session data needed to keep you signed in: your shop domain, an access token issued by Shopify, and the granted permission scopes.

Shopper data

None. The app never sees who visits or buys from your store.

Sharing

We don't sell or share data. Our server is hosted by Hetzner Online in Germany and only runs the app.

Retention and deletion

When you uninstall the app, your session is deleted right away. Shopify sends a shop/redact request 48 hours later, and we then delete everything stored for your store.
