Please include your Azure DevOps organization name, what you expected, what happened, and the text of any error message. Please do not send the workbook unless I ask for it.

Common questions

Where is it? Boards, Excel Round-Trip. Also Export to Excel (Round-Trip) in the menu of a query, of query results and of backlog items.

A row shows a conflict. Someone changed that field in Azure DevOps after your export. The row is left out unless you tick it; ticking it overwrites their change with yours.

A row says it changed in Azure DevOps after the preview. The work item was saved by someone else between the preview and Apply. Upload the file again to see the new values.

More than 100 rows changed. The free plan applies up to 100 changed rows per import. Untick some rows, apply, then upload the same file again: rows already applied show as unchanged.

Undo skipped an item. Items edited again after the import are skipped so later work is not lost. Use Undo changed items anyway to restore them too.

Dates look different from the web form. The sheet shows dates in your browser's time zone.
