This page covers the PR Conflict Resolver extension for Azure DevOps, made by LeDuc Systems LLC ("I" below; I run the company myself).
Where your data is stored
- Drafts of conflict resolutions (the merged text of the files you are working on) are stored in your browser's local storage and, after a short pause, in your Azure DevOps organization's extension data storage at user scope, so only you can read them. Microsoft hosts that storage as part of your organization; Microsoft's own privacy terms apply.
- Pull request data (the pull request, its conflicts and the file versions) is read from Azure DevOps in your browser, using the Code (read and write) scope. When you click Apply resolution, your resolution is written back to the pull request through Azure DevOps.
I do not run a server that receives or stores any of this.
What is sent to LeDuc Systems
Nothing. The extension makes no requests to LeDuc Systems servers. It has no analytics, tracking pixels or advertising. I do not sell data.
Deleting data
To have a draft removed, clear your browser's site data or email me. Drafts for an older version of a pull request are set aside rather than applied.
