Please include:

• your Azure DevOps organization name,
• which page you were on (the work item's Log time group, Timesheet or Time reports),
• what you expected and what happened, and the text of any error message.

Please don't send time data or screenshots with personal information unless I ask for them.

Common questions

The Log time group isn't on my work item form. Organization administrators can show or hide extension groups in the process settings (Organization settings, Boards, Process, the work item type, Layout). Check that the "Log time" group is not hidden.

I can't change a day in my timesheet. The week has been submitted or approved, so it is locked. An approver can reopen it in Timesheet, Approvals.

I don't see the Approvals tab. Only approvers see it. An approver adds others in Timesheet, Settings. While no approver is set, anyone can add the first one.

It says the free plan covers 5 people. More than 5 people in your organization have logged time in the last 30 days. Enter a license key in Timesheet, Settings. Your existing time stays readable and exportable in the meantime.

How do I move my time from Tempo? In Tempo, export your logged time as CSV. In Timesheet, Import from Tempo, choose the file, pick your name, enter the work item id for each Jira issue key, preview and import. Each person imports their own time.

How do I get all my data out? Time reports, set the date range you need, Export detail CSV. Every entry is in that file.
