Tempo Timesheets pricing in 2026
This page sets out what Timesheets by Tempo costs on Jira Cloud, using Tempo's public price list. It also covers who counts as a user, what Tempo's other apps add to the bill, and what cheaper options cost. I make Saguaro Hours, one of those options, so read the comparison with that in mind.
All prices are monthly list prices in US dollars for a whole Jira Cloud site, read on 2026-11-04.
The rates
Tempo charges a flat $10.00 a month for up to 10 users. Above 10 users, each band of users is charged at its own rate:
| Users | Rate per user per month |
|---|---|
| 1 to 100 | $5.99 |
| 101 to 250 | $4.21 |
| 251 to 1,000 | $1.99 |
| 1,001 to 2,500 | $1.11 |
| 2,501 to 5,000 | $0.64 |
| 5,001 to 7,500 | $0.43 |
| 7,501 to 15,000 | $0.36 |
| 15,001 and up | $0.28 |

The pricing page shows the same rates and "$5.99 per user (average)" for 100 users.
What a site pays per month
| Jira users | Tempo Timesheets | Worked out as |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | $10.00 | flat |
| 11 | $65.89 | 11 x $5.99 |
| 25 | $149.75 | 25 x $5.99 |
| 50 | $299.50 | 50 x $5.99 |
| 100 | $599.00 | 100 x $5.99 |
| 250 | $1,230.50 | $599.00 + 150 x $4.21 |
| 500 | $1,728.00 | $1,230.50 + 250 x $1.99 |
| 1,000 | $2,723.00 | $1,230.50 + 750 x $1.99 |
Going from 10 to 11 users takes the bill from $10.00 to $65.89 a month. That step is the one small teams notice most.

Who counts as a user
Every user on the Jira license, not only the people who log time. Tempo's pricing page says: "A user is anyone who can log into Jira" and "Your Tempo license size must match your Jira license size." This is how Atlassian bills all paid Marketplace apps on Jira Cloud, so it applies to every app on this page. More on the rules: how Jira app pricing works.
So the price per person who actually tracks time can be much higher than the list rate. A 100-user site where 20 people log time pays $599.00 / 20 = $29.95 a month for each of them.
Annual subscriptions
Atlassian prices an annual cloud subscription at 10 times the monthly price, bought for a user tier. Tempo's pricing page has an Annual toggle but showed no annual prices when I read it. Details and sources: how Jira app pricing works.
Tempo's other apps are billed separately
Timesheets records and approves time. Cost tracking and capacity planning are separate Tempo apps, each with its own price for every Jira user:
| Jira users | Timesheets | Financial Manager | Capacity Planner | All three |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | $10.00 | $10.50 | $11.00 | $31.50 |
| 50 | $299.50 | $159.00 | $219.50 | $678.00 |
| 100 | $599.00 | $318.00 | $439.00 | $1,356.00 |
| 250 | $1,230.50 | $604.50 | $835.00 | $2,670.00 |
Rates behind the table: Financial Manager is $10.50 flat up to 10 users, then $3.18 for users 1 to 100 and $1.91 for 101 to 250. Capacity Planner is $11.00 flat up to 10 users, then $4.39 and $2.64. Tempo's pricing page notes Financial Manager is "Included with Tempo Budgets", with no bundle price shown.
What other time tracking apps cost
Monthly list price for the same site sizes, from each app's public Marketplace price list:
| Jira users | Tempo Timesheets | Clockwork Pro | Timetracker | Saguaro Hours |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | $10.00 | Free | Free | Free |
| 50 | $299.50 | $65.00 | $50.00 | $100.00 |
| 100 | $599.00 | $130.00 | $100.00 | $200.00 |
| 250 | $1,230.50 | $295.00 | $227.50 | $425.00 |
Saguaro Hours is not the cheapest. Clockwork Pro and Timetracker cost less and list features Saguaro does not have, such as an API. Saguaro's case is weekly timesheets with lead approval on native Jira worklogs, with data kept in Atlassian-hosted storage. The full comparison, with sources and features: Jira time tracking apps compared. What Saguaro does and does not do next to Tempo: Tempo alternative.
Before you switch
- Your worklogs are already Jira worklogs, because Tempo writes each one into Jira. What stays in Tempo is the real author, the description, the account and work attributes. How to export Tempo worklogs to CSV covers getting those out.
- See your own Tempo export laid out as timesheets, in your browser: Tempo data preview.
Status: Saguaro Hours was submitted to the Atlassian Marketplace on 2026-11-03 and is waiting for approval. Its prices are as entered in the listing.
