A 7pace Timetracker alternative for Azure DevOps
7pace Timetracker is the best-known time tracker for Azure DevOps. If you are comparing options on price or on where your data is kept, here is what Saguaro Hours offers. Check 7pace's own Marketplace page for its current features and prices.
Saguaro Hours at a glance
- Price: free for up to 5 people logging time; $4 per user per month above that, one license key per organization.
- Data location: time entries are stored in your Azure DevOps organization's extension data storage. No LeDuc Systems server holds them.
- Logging: a Log time group on the work item form, and a weekly grid under Boards.
- Approvals: submit, approve, reject with a reason, reopen. Approved weeks are locked.
- Reports: filter by dates, person, area path and iteration path; group by person, work item or tag; CSV export.
- Moving from Jira: import logged time from a Tempo CSV export.
What it does not do yet
- No timer that runs in the background; time is entered as hours.
- Azure DevOps Services only, not Azure DevOps Server.
Switching
Export your existing time to CSV first so you keep a copy. Then install Saguaro Hours, and start logging from the next week. Questions: tyler@leducsystems.com.
