This page covers the Sprint Goals extension for Azure DevOps, made by LeDuc Systems LLC ("I" below; I run the company myself).
Where your data is stored
Everything the extension stores is kept in your Azure DevOps organization, in the Extension Data Service (the storage Microsoft provides to extensions):
- Goals: for each team and sprint, the goal, the optional details, the outcome (achieved, partly achieved or missed), the outcome note, and the name and time of the last person who saved it.
- Plan record: the list of teams that have saved goals, used for the free plan (one team).
I do not run a server that receives or stores this data. Microsoft hosts it as part of your organization; Microsoft's own privacy terms apply to that storage.
The extension also reads the project's teams, each team's sprints and working days. These are read in your browser through Azure DevOps and are not sent to me.
Text you type is also kept in your browser's local storage until it has been saved, so a goal typed just before the page closes is not lost. It is removed once saved.
What is sent to LeDuc Systems
Nothing. The extension makes no requests to LeDuc Systems servers. It has no analytics, tracking pixels or advertising. I do not sell data.
Deleting data
Clearing a goal's text removes it from your organization. Uninstalling the extension stops access to the stored goals. To have anything else removed, email me.
