Please include your Azure DevOps organization name, the team, what you expected, what happened, and the text of any error message.

Common questions

Where do I find it? On Boards > Sprints, open a sprint and pick the Goal tab. On Boards > Backlogs, pick the Sprint goal tab. Boards > Sprint Goals shows every team at once. On a dashboard, add the Sprint goal widget.

Several teams share the same sprints. Will one team's goal show for another? No. Each team's goals are stored under that team, and the tab reads the team from the page it is opened on.

Is there a Save button? No. Changes save a moment after you stop typing and before you switch sprints. The top right of the tab says "All changes saved" when they are in.

Two of us edited the goal at once. Changes to different fields are both kept. If both of you changed the same field, the person saving last keeps their text and sees the other person's text in a message.

"has no sprints with dates yet". Pick the team's sprints in Project settings, Team configuration, Iterations, and give each one a start and end date.

The widget shows the wrong team. Open the widget's settings and pick the team. With no team picked, it shows the dashboard's team.

I cannot see the tabs or the hub. Ask an organization administrator to check that the extension is installed and not disabled under Organization settings, Extensions.
