Support
Email me at tyler@leducsystems.com. I build Team Calendar Pro and answer support email myself, usually within one business day (Arizona time).
Please include your Azure DevOps organization name, what you expected, what happened, and the text of any error message. Please do not send screenshots with personal information unless I ask for them.
Common questions
Days off do not show on the sprint capacity page. Days off outside every sprint are kept and marked "waiting for a sprint". Create the sprint for that team, then click Push to sprint capacity.
Someone in an Entra ID group is missing. Azure DevOps only knows Entra users who have been added to the organization or have signed in at least once. A person who never used the organization may not appear until they do. Adding them to the organization or the team fixes it.
I cannot see the Team Calendar hub. It is under Boards. Ask an organization administrator to check that the extension is installed and not disabled under Organization settings, Extensions.
The .ics file does not open. Import it in your calendar app. Outlook, Google Calendar and Apple Calendar can all import .ics files.
Import from Microsoft's Team Calendar
Open Import in Team Calendar Pro. It copies the team's custom events from Microsoft's Team Calendar. Running it twice does not create duplicates. Days off need no import, because both extensions read them from sprint capacity.
If Import says the old extension's data cannot be read from the browser, use the export script instead:
- Download export-team-calendar.ps1.
- Create a personal access token in Azure DevOps (User settings, Personal access tokens). Make it short-lived and delete it when you are done.
- In PowerShell, run:
$env:AZDO_PAT = '<personal access token>'
./export-team-calendar.ps1 -Organization fabrikam -Project "Contoso Web" -Team "Contoso Web Team"
- The script writes
team-calendar-export.json. In Team Calendar Pro, choose Import, then Import from a file instead, and select that file.
The script runs on your computer. It sends the token only to Azure DevOps (dev.azure.com and extmgmt.dev.azure.com), to read the old extension's events for one team, and writes them to the file. If it reports an authorization error, email me and I will help.
